My neighbor is a man in his 70’s, he retired last August, The middle of September he had a heart attack, a triple bypass, his lower bowel burst and he has been in the hospital since. Today he came home. To die. He is across the street counting his breaths, fighting for each one. He is but a mere image of the man he used to be…the Doctors said he has days…a few hours.
